Dubai to host first customer happiness awards ceremony

DUBAI, June 6, 2018

Dubai will be hosting its inaugural Customer Happiness Summit & Awards, on October 18, thus giving a major boost to the emirate’s agenda to become one of the happiest cities on earth.

The one-day event will see leading government officials, experts, business leaders, policy makers and investors from a myriad of business disciplines congregate, connect, explore and propose new ways to support Dubai’s Happiness Agenda, said the event organisers, Plan3Media.

The event, to be held at the H Hotel Dubai will host experts from the aviation, travel, tourism, hospitality, events, real estate, retail, and healthcare sectors, to discuss and highlight individual roles and contribution of each in raising the emirate’s global offering another notch.

By hosting the first Customer Happiness Summit & Awards in the region, the organisers hope to inspire innovative ideas and contribute to economic and social advancement. In addition, the event will offer ample time for networking opportunities, they stated.

"UAE has made a remarkable growth in every possible direction, especially when we consider its age of inception. The appointment of the world’s first Happiness Minister is nothing short of reinvented diplomacy, which is just one of the many examples showing the nation’s forward-thinking character and how far it has come," remarked Jatin Deepchandani, the CEO of Plan3Media.

Out of 156 countries across the globe, the UAE has been ranked 20th in this year’s UN World Happiness Report, he stated, citing the global data.

"A country that has been a gracious host to the world is about to welcome its biggest contingent of visitors at the Expo 2020, and we intend to reinforce the role of every entity and individual in assisting UAE attain the title of the world’s happiest place," added Deepchandani.-TradeArabia News Service
