Bahrain opens 36 bids for five tenders

MANAMA, October 7, 2019

Bahrain's Tender Board, the independent regulator of government procurement practices in the kingdom, today (October 7) opened 36 bids related to five tenders for four purchasing authorities.

Among these, one tender was opened for the Ministry of Health for the provision of laundry services in the linen section at Salmaniya Medical Complex. Four bids were received for this tender.

In the telecommunications sector, one tender was opened for the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) for the appointment of a qualified consultant to carry out a comprehensive study regarding Security Information and Event Management solution in the telecom sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain, five bids were received for this tender.

One tender was opened for the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) for the setup, fabrication, delivery and dismantling of the exhibition stand at IBTM World 2019 in Barcelona, Spain, for which six bids were received, said the statement from the Tender Board.

Finally, two tenders were opened for Gulf Air, one for the supply of plastic cutlery, for which ten bids were received, and one for the supply of various paper products, for which eleven bids were received, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
