Uber Eats launches in Khobar, Dhahran

RIYADH, November 6, 2019

Uber Eats, the globally popular food delivery service, has launched its services in the dynamic food delivery scene in Saudi Arabia’s Khobar and Dhahran.

Marking the fourth and fifth cities added to the Uber Eats app in the kingdom, Khobar and Dhahran follow Riyadh, Jeddah and Damman, as Uber Eats takes the next step in its expansion across the region, said a statement from the company.

To ensure quality of service, Uber Eats will be available in the major areas of Khobar and Dhahran with the aim of covering all areas in the upcoming months, it said.

Assad Numan, general manager for Uber Eats in Saudi Arabia, said: “At our company, we aim to make food choices a smoother experience, liberating people from the struggles of everyday eating, by helping everyone eat in a way that fits their lifestyle.”

“The kingdom has always been a priority market for Uber, and the recent launch in the Eastern Province cements our commitment to expand our footprint -bringing convenience, excellent customer service and favourite meals to people across the region,” he added.

At the push of a button, Uber Eats offers foodies a huge variety of dishes spanning cuisines from across the world. The launch in Khobar and Dhahran comes with partnerships with hundreds of the best restaurants in the city including McDonald’s, KFC, Kudu, Maestro Pizza, Rocomamas, The Cuts and Pizzarific, with more added every day.

Food lovers in Khobar and Dhahran can now order their favourite meals by either downloading the Uber Eats app or visiting ubereats.com.

Celebrating the new city launch, Uber Eats is offering new customers 50 per cent off their first two orders, up to SR50 off, using the promo code “ep2x50”. Existing customers can receive free delivery on all orders for a limited time, using the promo code “khfd”, it stated. – TradeArabia News Service
