Saudi issues directive on exit and return visas

RIYADH, March 24, 2020

Saudi Arabia's General Directorate of Passports has called on all residents in the kingdom who have final exit, exit and return visas to quickly cancel them before their expiry.
This step is needed to avoid the prescribed fines following the suspension of international flights in the kingdom as part of the preventive and precautionary measures to combat the novel Coronavirus, said a Saudi Press Agency report .
The directorate confirmed that the validity of the visa can be verified and cancelled by entering the electronic services platform of the Ministry of Interior "Absher", or through the "Muqeem" electronic portal. It affirmed the need to adhere to the regulations and instructions in order to avoid fines prescribed by law against violators, the report said.
