Mercedes-Benz sales up 34pc in April
Dubai

Mercedes-Benz Middle East & Levant achieved retail sales of 1,720 vehicles in April, 34 per cent over the same month in 2007.

This achievement was its second best in 2008 and brings sales for the first four months of 2008 to 6,660 almost 16 per cent over the same period in 2007.

“Looking ahead, if we keep the momentum we will be able to reach our ambitious target for the year,” said Frank Bernthaler, director, sales and marketing, Mercedes-Benz Cars, Middle East & Levant.

“We have great plans in place for the E-Class, the S-Class is still going strong, as well as C-Class and over the next six months we will introduce the CLC entry-level coupe, refreshed versions of the SL, CLS and increasingly popular M-Class and will follow this with the launch of our first compact SUV, the GLK at the end of the year,” he said.-TradeArabia News Service
