Nissan Motor Company has signed an agreement with Saudi Arabia's Al Dahana Group to double its sales to 160,000 units in the Gulf by 2012 from 74,000, the company's senior vice president said on Sunday.
'The Middle East is one of the fastest growing auto markets and is a strategic area of focus for the future of Nissan,' Colin Dodge said.
The Japanese carmaker is looking to double its entire Middle East sales to 400,000 units, from 198,000, by 2012, Dodge added.-Reuters
