BIC to host 'bigger' motor show in April

Manama, January 28, 2009

The Bahrain International Circuit, Sakhir, will host the second Bahrain International Motor Show in April.

The event will be bigger and more enjoyable than the first show held in 2007, said organisers Auto Collection chief executive officer Wassim Sami Farhoud.

'We are returning now with a bigger and more enjoyable blend of cars, boats, and entertainment,' he said.

'We are building on the 2007 success by offering a wealth of commercial opportunities for exhibitors, partner organisations and sponsors.'

Farhoud said the first show attracted over 4,000 visitors, 50 exhibitors and 20 sponsors, proving the growing interest in the automotive industry.

He said this year they hope to attract over 100 exhibitors and more than 20,000 visitors.

'Our hard work and dedication along with our cumulative experience, is setting the path towards prosperity and success,' said Farhoud.

He said the event was expanded to include not only automotive dealers, but all motor-related businesses in the industry.

'Boats, bikes, commercial vehicles and much more will be at the show,' said Farhoud.-TradeArabia News Service
