General Motors awards 6 Mideast dealers

Dubai, May 26, 2011

US automaker General Motors has recognized six dealers from the Middle East with its global award, which is presented to outstanding dealers of Chevrolet, GMC and Cadillac vehicles across the globe.

The Grandmasters Award aims to raise levels of customer care in terms of sales and aftersales service to ensure that GM’s dealers provide the best customer ownership experience in the region, a statement said.

“Providing a range of award-winning cars, pickups, crossovers and SUVs is not enough to maintain our success in this challenging and demanding market,” said John Stadwick, president and managing director of GM Middle East Operations.

“We have to ensure that all GM customers in the Middle East receive a world-class shopping, buying and ownership experience. And, our dealers have worked tirelessly to provide a customer experience that is second-to-none in the region.”

The six winning dealers from the region were: Abdullatif Alissa Automotive from Saudi Arabia; Behbehani and Alamana from Kuwait; Rasamny Younis Motor from Lebanon; Leading Vehicles from Jordan; and Al Mansour Automotive from Iraq.

“All the Grandmasters Award winners are the best-of-the-best dealers. They have exceeded their customer satisfaction targets and made an invaluable contribution to the success of GM Middle East during 2010 and the four months of 2011, which has seen our sales increase by 19 per cent,” added Stadwick. – TradeArabia News Service
