The event, from November 10-14, will be held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The Kia brand has developed a strong reputation for its consistent delivery of improved engineering technology and the latest designs, while maintaining its ‘value for money’ promise without compromising on quality, the company said.
Mohammed Khader, president of Al Majid Motors - Kia, said: “Kia, today, has a reputation for being one of the most reliable vehicle manufacturers in the world, competing with international heavyweights in the industry. Our goal is to honour our commitment to surpass customer expectations through continuous automotive innovation and design, while making it all available at a great price.”
He said 2011 saw double-digit (22 per cent) YOY growth with robust sales for several models including Sportage, Optima, Cerato, Picanto and Rio. Each surpassed international predicted figures and that number is expected to rise even further, he said.
The fourth generation Kia Rio is expected to be the star performer. The reincarnated model will be launched in an even more attractive design, loaded with new features at a highly competitive price, he said. Running on 1.4 liters gasoline engine and two trim levels (LX and EX), Rio will be available in 3 -door and 5-door hatchbacks.
The highlight of the show will be the unveiling of the 4-door sedan, which has had everyone in the industry buzzing. The addition will take the car to the top of the B-segment, with its enticing new shape that adds a lot more luxury and convenience for a lot less, he said.
Khader added: “Kia Rio will definitely be the car to look out for later this year, but what has attracted a lot of visitors to the show is the 4 door sedan.
