Al Ghassam opens new Bentley showroom

Jeddah, May 29, 2012

Leading automotive retailer in the region, Al Ghassam Motors, recently opened its new Bentley Motors showroom located in Tahliah Street in Jeddah.

Under the ownership of Sheikh Ghassan Abdulrahman Hamad Al Sulaiman, the company has focused on delivering excellent quality service to its clientele. The new showroom represents its commitment to the brand and customers, a statement from Al Ghassam said.

The previous showroom has been converted into a Bentley after sales and service centre, furthur extending its customer service capability, the statement said.

“This is part of a long term goal to become seen as not only the top luxury brand provider but also recognised as one that listens to its customers, what they want from us and provide them with five-star quality products and services,” Al Sulaiman said.

Dave Hayter, the regional director of Bentley Motors, marked the occasion by presenting Al Ghassan Motors with an award for being the most successful dealer in the Middle East for sales of the Bentley Mulsanne.

Al Ghassan Motors, headquartered in Jeddah, has become the largest Mulsanne dealer in the Gulf since the car’s launch in 2010.

“The Mulsanne is a pure example of the Grand Touring Bentley combining coach-built elegance and hand crafted luxury with immense power and sportiness that together offer the world’s most exclusive driving experience,” Hayter said.

The new eight-car showroom will also accommodate the recently launched new Continental GT V8 and the existing Continental GT W12 version and the Continental Flying Spur.

Bentley Motors drove in the Ice Speed Record Breaking Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible, specially for the event. It sprints from 80-120km/h in 2.5 seconds.

The car shattered the world speed record on sheet ice with a speed of 330.695 km/h. A limited production of only 100 Bentley ISR Supersports will be built, making it a very rare sight and one only seen on special occasions, the statement said.

Chris Buxton, regional manager, Middle East, said: “This is one of the first stages in a long term growth plan that will see Bentley improve its commitment to deliver luxury brands and luxury services to all its customers in Saudi Arabia”.

“Bentley vehicles are globally recognised as the last word in high-performance automotive luxury, and nowhere is this more evident than in the Gulf,” concluded David Leach, general manager of Al Ghassan Motors. – TradeArabia News Service
