Doha, February 3, 2014

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars recorded a 17 per cent year-on-year growth in the Middle East, making it the best performing region for the company globally in terms of growth for the second consecutive year, a report said.

Globally, the British automaker sold 3,630 cars during the year, reflecting the best sales result in the company's history, according to the report in Gulf Times.

Meanwhile, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Doha, the sole distributor of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in Qatar, saw a 37 per cent growth in its sales in 2013, the report said.

"Rolls-Royce is respected and renowned for offering the ultimate in luxury, comfort and innovative design, making the brand a benchmark for the whole luxury industry," Mohamed Kandeel, general manager at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Doha was quoted as saying in the report.

The recently-launched Rolls-Royce Wraith, the most powerful and dynamic machine in the Rolls-Royce stable, and the sales of Phantom Series II, Rolls-Royce's flagship model, were major contributors to Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Doha's solid performance, the report said.
