Toyota holds body and paint contest in Bahrain

Manama, March 10, 2014

The 14th Toyota National Body and Paint Skills Contest took place at the Toyota Body and Paint Service Centre in Arad.

Hosted by Ebrahim K Kanoo, the event was attended by company's top management and delegations from Toyota Bahrain, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

Also present were officials from the Labour and Education ministries, Tamkeen, professors and students from technical institutes.

This national contest aims to improve participants' technical skills, motivate technicians to retain their loyalty as well as boost the reputation of Toyota Body and Paint Centres distributed across the country.

The contestants competed in two categories, the body category and the paint category, with four technicians in each category.

"All of the contestants have shown us that they can deliver high quality work to meet the expectations of our customers," said Ebrahim K Kanoo general manager of service Michael Goode.

After the announcement of the winners, Ebrahim K Kanoo's management handed over the awards.

The first place winners in both categories will take part in the GCC Skills Contest 2014 and the remaining participants received valuable prizes. - TradeArabia News Service
