Q1 car sales increase 3.2pc in Saudi

Riyadh, April 16, 2014

Sales of new cars in Saudi Arabia grew 3.2 percent in the first quarter to 190,000 units, compared to 184,000 in the same period last year, an Arab News report said quoting local media.

The increase in car sales is due to the high employment rates as well as the increasing number of the projects in the kingdom, Faisal Abu Shoushah, head of National Committee for Car Dealers, was quoted as saying in an Al-Eqtisadiah report.
