Rolls-Royce records 39pc rise in sales in Doha

Doha, August 21, 2014

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Doha has recorded a 39 per cent increase in sales for the first half of the year, compared to the same period last year, said the report.

The Rolls-Royce Wraith was the key driver of this steady sales performance, Mohammed Kandeel, chief operating officer, Alfardan Group - Automotive Division, was quoted as saying in the Gulf Times report.

“Following a remarkable first quarter in 2014, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Doha continues to go from strength to strength as illustrated by what has been an outstanding first half of this year. We offer vehicles that are as refined and distinguished as our clients, and a level of service that is unparalleled – two factors that have, and will continue to, strengthen sales,” he said.

“The Wraith offers our clients not only a unique vehicle, but also a driving experience like no other. Its power and character, coupled with a sleek dramatic design, have been well received among Qatari automobile aficionados and we are confident that it will continue to be a force in our continued success,”  added Kandeel.

With the recent launch of the new Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II in Qatar, the prospects for the remainder of the year looks equally promising, the report added.
