Al Nabooda posts 13pc rise in Audi sales

DUBAI, January 27, 2015

Al Nabooda Automobiles, the official dealer for Audi in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, has recorded an increase of 13.6 per cent in sales year-on-year in 2014, having sold more than 3,000 cars.

The four top performing models in Dubai and the Northern Emirates were the Audi Q7, A6, A8 and Q5, reinforcing the strong demand for first-rate sedans and SUVs in the emirates, said a statement.

The new Audi A3 Sedan was launched last year and became an instant hit with customers in the Dubai, Sharjah and Fujairah showrooms.

Officially available from February, Al Nabooda Automobiles sold 316 cars by the end of the year.

The A3 is more compact than the A4 and A6 models, but the sedan is equally luxurious and rewarding to its drivers.  Aside from its assured reliability on the road, the 2015 A3 Sedan offers safety and comfort to passengers with smooth leather upholstery and front shock-absorbing technology.

Ali Al Nabooda, general manager Audi at Al Nabooda, said: “This has been another incredibly successful 12 months for Audi at Al Nabooda Automobiles, with the brand going from strength to strength in recent years.

“We continue to invest in sales and service facilities to make sure our customers receive the best possible experience.”

“2014 was a landmark year with showrooms opening in both Fujairah and Sharjah, and ground breaking work was initiated on one of the world’s largest Audi workshops in Dubai, at a cost of Dh133 million ($36.2 million),” said Al Nabooda.

The new Dubai workshop is set to be completed within the first quarter of this year, while work also continues apace on the Dh256 million vehicle pre-delivery centre and paint and body shop on the extensive 130,000-sq-m site at Jebel Ali. - TradeArabia News Service
