EMC converts 100 Mercedes-Benz vans for NAC

ABU DHABI, February 1, 2016

Abu Dhabi-based Emirates Motor Company Daimler Commercial Vehicles (EMC) has supplied 100 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans converted into ambulances to the National Ambulance Company (NAC).

EMC is the authorised Mercedes-Benz distributor in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the flagship company of Al Fahim Group.

At the handover during the recently concluded Arab Health expo in Dubai, UAE general manager of EMC Daimler Commercial Vehicles Bilal Al Ribi said: “We are proud to have joined forces once again with the National Ambulance Company in Abu Dhabi to fully equip 100 vans with the latest advancements in technology ensuring the fastest and best care is provided to victims of an emergency. This alliance is the perfect synergy as Mercedes-Benz is known as one of the safest and most reliable premium vans in the world.”

The National Ambulance Company is a leading provider of emergency pre-hospital care in the United Arab Emirates.

Robert Ball, chief executive officer of National Ambulance, said: "The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is our top choice for the safety features and other technological advancements the van features.
