ABU DHABI, April 1, 2019

Yas Marina Circuit has revealed the full line up of on and off-track entertainment taking place at FIA World Rallycross of Abu Dhabi 2019 from April 4-6.

With only three days remaining until the weekend begins, tickets are selling fast and organisers urge people to purchase a ticket or risk missing out on this world-class, three-day urban festival of motorsport, A-list musical artists and fun activations.

Kicking off the racing action will be World Rallycross Qualifying Round 1 (16:00) and Round 2 (19:00) on Friday.

Saturday will see Qualifying Round 3 (14:45) and Qualifying Round 4 (16:00), with the best drivers heading into the all-action Semi-Final and Final Race (19:00), followed by the Podium Ceremony (19:50) where the winner will be crowned.

The Emirates Drift Invitational Cup will also be wowing crowds with a knock-out format, tyre-screeching competition across both Friday and Saturday.

Off-track, the weekend’s entertainment will be headlined by US rap trio Migos playing the After-Race Convert on April 5 at du Arena.

Joining the musical artist line-up will be Electronic music artists El Loren, bands such as 13 Daze, Gorgeous George as well as solo artists Adam Baluch, Bru Fave, Sherif Elmoghazy, Walter Scalzone. DJs confirmed to get the crowds rocking include Andy Swift, Chris Metcalfe and DJ Lins.

In the Adrenaline Zone, there will be demonstrations by slackline athletes, extreme mountain bike trial riders, parkour freerunners, in-line skaters and scooter riders and a range of BMX stunt displays, plus Xpogo, a stunt team made up of the world's best extreme pogo stick athletes. Additionally, there will be lifting demos performed by UK strongman Mark Boyd. Street Artist Dina Saadi will be showcasing her freestyle spirit and love of colour in live art shows.

Of course, that’s not all, and visitors can also enjoy the Food Festival area, with a variety of food and beverage options including open-range barbecues and food trucks, plus KartZone challenges, and driver meet-and-greets and autograph sessions – all exclusively for ticket holders only.

As part of the weekend-long festival for all members of the family, ticket holders can make the most out of their time on Yas Island by adding on the X-Parks Pass when purchasing their tickets for the FIA World Rallycross Championship. The exclusive tickets provide access to Yas Marina Circuit as well as unlimited access to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Water World, or Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi from Thursday to Sunday.

Weekend tickets are priced from Dh395 ($107.5) for North Grandstand general admission, Dh595 ($161.9) for the North Club Lounge and Dh1,495 ($406.9) for Yas Central Hospitality. - TradeArabia News Service
