Ebrahim K Kanoo organises skills contest for employees

Ebrahim K Kanoo, the sole distributor of Toyota and Lexus vehicles in Bahrain, has organised the first Toyota and Lexus National Skills Contest for its employees.

The contest a highly competitive activity for employees to demonstrate their talent, technical knowledge and practical expertise in their respective professional fields, said a statement from the company.

The contest was held at the newly established Ebrahim K Kanoo Training Centre in Tubli and saw contestants from all Toyota and Lexus service centres across Bahrain take part in five categories: general technician; service advisor; estimator; paint and body categories, it said.

Ebrahim K Kanoo director of operations Ebrahim M Kanoo, said: “We are fully committed to provide our customers with the best aftersales service and experience possible.”

“In line with Toyota’s global ‘Kaizen’ philosophy, this competition nurtures the sense of continuous improvement to find the most efficient solutions to any task as well as a chance for our fully dedicated staff to stand out,” he added.

Ebrahim K Kanoo senior general manager of service Michael Goode, said: “This contest is an investment in the skills of our team, it helps ensure they have a high level of professional knowledge and the abilities required to remain at the forefront of industry standards.”

“It has also been proven to support high customer satisfaction levels thanks to less downtime and increased efficiency for all our customers and business partners,” he added.

The winners received cash prizes, trophies and certificates while the overall winner will have the opportunity to attend The Annual Assembly of Toyota International Customer Service Champions’ Society in Japan later this year, it stated. – TradeArabia News Service
