Prometeon Tyre Egypt, the licensed manufacturer of Pirelli-branded truck, bus, agro and OTR tyres, recently showcased its cutting-edge technology, industry innovation and best practices in terms of safety at a meeting with Egyptian distributors, dealers and retailers.

Located on Alexandria Cairo on Desert Road, Prometeon’s factory in Egypt is one of the four Prometeon factories all over the world, said a statement.

During the meeting, Prometeon highlighted its history of continued investment in the Egypt plant to increase production capacity and upgrade technology. As a result, the company today provides over 2,000 job opportunities locally, it said.

In addition to its factory in Egypt, the company operates one factory in Turkey and two in Brazil, as well as research and development centres in Italy and Brazil where researchers explore cutting-edge industry advancements.

The group employs over 7,000 people and has a commercial presence on five continents with a heritage of more than 145 years of Pirelli high-end technology.

Prometeon has organised the national customers’ roadshow “Coming Together Events” for their direct and indirect customers over the past two months. All over Egypt Prometeon management has come together with 535 key customers and opinion leaders in the trucking industry at four different locations over five events.

During the meetings, Prometeon’s management shared their vision, strategies and demonstrated a commitment to align with customers’ needs, highlighting the means by which the industry is changing and explaining how the company is innovating to meet customer requirements across the industry and exceed their expectations.

Some customers also had an opportunity to tour the factory, gaining a first-hand perspective of the technology and passion used to develop and manufacture every single tyre.
