Tesla sees record deliveries, production in Q2
PALO ALTO, USA, July 3, 2019
US-based Tesla, a leading in electric car manufacturing company, has achieved record production of 87,048 vehicles and record deliveries of approximately 95,200 vehicles in the second quarter of the year.
In addition, it made significant progress streamlining our global logistics and delivery operations at higher volumes, enabling cost efficiencies and improvements to its working capital position, a company statement said.
Orders generated during the quarter exceeded deliveries, enabling the company to enter Q3 with an increase in order backlog. Tesla said that it is well positioned to continue growing total production and deliveries in Q3.
Customer vehicles in transit at the end of the quarter were over 7,400, Tesla said in the statement. – TradeArabia News Service
