Formula 1 STC Saudi Grand Prix set for kick-off

JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia, December 5, 2021

The competitions of round 21 (penultimate) of the Formula 1 STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2021 will kick off today (December 5) at the Jeddah Corniche circuit.

The final race of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Middle East will start at 2:00 pm, followed by preparations for the main event, which will include a display of the F1 drivers, reported Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

Meanwhile, Michael Masi, Formula 1 Racing Director and Commissioner for Safety inspected the setup of the Jeddah Corniche circuit this morning, ahead of the start of the Formula 1 STC Saudi Grand Prix, expressing satisfaction with the preparations.

The Jeddah Corniche Circuit will be the fastest street circuit in the world with an average speed of 252 kilometres per hour, while the maximum speed is 322 kilometres per hour in the last turn, and it also contains seven stands that have been built, giving fans a mesmerizing view of the race.
