Infiniti announces management changes in the Middle East

DUBAI, February 2, 2023

Infiniti Middle East has confirmed three highly experienced and accomplished General Managers to its executive team reporting to Andrew Mclaughlan, Managing Director of Infiniti Middle East. 
 
They are Fayiz Al Alim, General Manager of Sales, Sales Operations, and Aftersales, Infiniti Middle East; Ali Berri, General Manager of Sales and Aftersales, Infiniti KSA; and Zaher Ayat, who has been appointed General Manager of Marketing, PR & CX, Infiniti Middle East.
 
Al Alim brings a wealth of experience to his new role, over almost six years with Nissan in the region, he has held various positions across sales channels at Nissan Saudi Arabia, and until joining Infiniti, led Aftersales Field Operations at Nissan Middle East.
 
Driving sales
In his new role, Al Alim, who holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Economics and a Masters in Business Administration and Marketing, will be responsible for driving sales, sales planning and aftersales in the GCC markets. Prior to joining Nissan, he worked with General Motors Middle East in Purchasing, Aftersales, and Sales. 
 
Newly appointed General Manager of Sales and Aftersales for Infiniti Saudi Arabia, Berri has spent the past five years of his career growing within the organisation, most recently serving as General Manager of Sales & Certified Pre-Owned at Nissan Middle East. 
 
Berri holds an Executive-MBA and a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Finance from the American University of Sharjah. With his extensive management and sales experience in the region’s automotive and luxury retail industries, he is well-positioned to lead Infiniti's efforts in KSA.
 
Integral role
Ayat brings his wealth of automotive, advertising and marketing experience to the position of General Manager of Marketing, PR, and CX, Infiniti Middle East. He has spent the last four years with Nissan in the region, and, until December 2022, was the General Manager of MarComms & Partnerships at Nissan Saudi Arabia, where he played an integral role in improving Nissan’s overall brand performance in the kingdom. 
 
Ayat joined Nissan in 2017 and has more than 18 years of marketing experience in lead roles, ranging from automotive to advertising, production, and FMCG.
