Qatargas drills new well
Doha, November 14, 2007
The drilling of NFB-24, Qatargas’s new well, is now in progress, a report said.
This is the second well to be drilled this year following the successful start-up of NFB-25 in August this year.
According to the company, the NFB-24 well marks the completion of Pressure Maintenance Project (PMP) Phase-1 drilling.
Qatargas said the PMP was part of the continuing efforts to guarantee a steady and stable production from the North Field Bravo platform which supplies up to 1.6 billion cu ft of gas a day to the onshore processing facilities at Ras Laffan.
