Oil and Gas Affairs Minister and National Oil and Gas Authority chairman Dr Abdulhussain Mirza will take part in the London Power Summit on Friday.

The event follows an invitation by British Prime Minister Gordon Brown at the Jeddah summit in June after a sharp increase in oil prices hitting $147 a barrel.

Dr Mirza said the London gathering would witness a constructive dialogue aimed at achieving a better understanding of oil-related issues.

Over 2300 experts, scientists, researchers and academicians are expected to take part in the event.-TradeArabia News Service
