Russia, Qatar in Yamal joint gas project

Russia and Qatar have agreed to work together to develop the gas reserves of Russia's Arctic Yamal peninsula, the two sides said in a joint statement on Monday.
"The parties reached agreenent to further develop their cooperation ...including through joint implementation of the integrated project to develop the gas reserves of the Yamal peninsula," said the statement, issued at a meeting of major gas producers. – Reuters
