A total of 75 international and Arab companies and more than 500 participants are taking part in an oil, gas and minerals conference which opened in Sana’a yesterday (October 18).

The third Oil, Gas and Minerals Conference (OGM Conference), organised by the Ministry of Oil and Minerals, will offer 21 investment opportunities in the field of oil and gas and 10 others in the field of minerals and rocks.

The two-day conference at the Movenpick Hotel will present 30 work papers, out of 78 work papers presented to the organizing committee, by the biggest international companies and senior consultants and personalities.

The conference will promote for the establishment of joint companies in the field of oil services in Yemen, in addition to setting up some special enterprises for industrial operations of oil and gas, a statement said. – TradeArabia News Service
