Firms under Noga increase to nine

Manama, January 30, 2011

The number of companies under Bahrain's National Oil and Gas Authority (Noga) has
grown to nine from four, it has been announced.

Noga, which replaced the Oil Ministry following a Royal decree, has become solely responsible for the oil and gas sector in Bahrain, said Oil and Gas Affairs Minister and Noga chairman Dr Abdulhussain Mirza.

Noga is making changes in its management structure and is adopting modern management techniques, he said, marking the launch of a report on organisational structure for companies under the authority's control.-TradeArabia News Service
