Bahrain to set up 21 new power stations

Manama, January 21, 2012

Bahrain plans to set up 21 new power stations, worth BD165 million ($437.8 million), this year as part of its upgrade of electricity grid.

This will put an end to power cuts, particularly during summer when demand peaks, our sister paper Akhbar Al Khaleej quoted Energy Minister Dr Abdulhussain Mirza as saying.-TradeArabia News Service
