DisaSolar to showcase solutions in Abu Dhabi

DisaSolar, French SME specialist in custom-made solar modules, will showcase its new organic materials-based solutions at the World Future Energy Summit to be held in Abu Dhabi from January 22.
The company commercialises and installs customised solar panels and has other activities in the development of ‘third generation’ Organic Photovoltaic (OPV) cells, using organic materials, said a statement.
DisaSolar delegates will meet partners, clients and other stakeholders of the expanding photovoltaic and renewable energy markets at the event.
The company worked at setting up solar panels to feed a lightning rod system on the Burj Khalifa, which was its biggest project in the region, said a senior executive.
Stéphane Poughon, chairman of DisaSolar, said: ”The development of the organic and customised photovoltaic subsidiary in France will enable us to realise similar big projects.”
The company provides energy opportunity assessment, energy efficiency analysis, system design, installation and training, he said.
The company is operational in two business units ‘Off Grid’ (transport, defense and street furnitures); and Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV ) (tertiary, housing, public buildings).
It can also provide integration of panels on vehicles, trains for the transport industry, military tents for the defense, integration of transparent solar panels on architectural roofs and facades. - TradeArabia News Service
