Oman's Sohar oil refinery has resumed normal operations after shutting down at the end of December for repair work, a spokesman for the operator said on Wednesday.

Oman Oil Refineries and Petroleum Industries Co (Orpic) closed the refinery near the industrial city of Sohar at the end of last month to repair a water treatment unit.

The refinery was restarted a few days ago and is now operating normally, the spokesman said. – Reuters
