Qatar to send Turkey 1.2 bcm of LNG in winter months

Turkish Energy Minister Taner Yildiz said that Qatar has agreed to send 1.2 billion cubic metres (bcm) of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Turkey during the winter months to help cover demand.
The shipments would be made in nine cargoes, said Yildiz, speaking in Doha in comments broadcast live by Turkish state broadcaster TRT Haber. -- Reuters
