Oman Orpic says put out fire at Mina Al Fahal refinery

Oman Oil Refineries and Petroleum Industries Company (Orpic) said it has put out a fire that broke out at one of its refining units.
The fire occurred at one of the naphtha treatment units at its Mina Al Fahal refinery in Muscat, the company said in a statement on its website.
"There are no direct impacts of this incident on fuel supplies to Omani local market," Orpic said.
The refinery has a capacity of 106,000 barrels per day, according to Reuters data.
Orpic operates another refinery in Sohar and the company has total refining capacity of 220,000 barrels per day, according to its website. -- Reuters
