Kurdistan stops oil transfers to Iraq's Somo

NEW YORK, June 3, 2015

Iraq's semi-autonomous region of Kurdistan is shipping oil to the Turkish port of Ceyhan but has stopped transferring crude to Iraqi state oil firm Somo, two shipping sources told Reuters.
 
The suspension comes after months of tensions between Kurdistan and Baghdad over oil sales and budget payments. --Reuters
