Exova signs environment services deal with Ma’aden

RIYADH, March 2, 2016

Exova, a leading global testing, calibration and advisory services provider, has signed a three-year framework agreement with Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma’aden), to provide environmental monitoring services across the kingdom.

The technical services Exova will provide include air quality testing as well as noise monitoring for twelve of Ma’aden’s operations across Saudi Arabia, said a statement from the company.

As part of the agreement Exova will also provide sampling and analysis of off-site groundwater, waste water and potable water, ensuring that Ma'aden sites comply with local and international regulatory requirements, it added.

The work will be carried out at a variety of client locations including minerals extraction and processing sites, it said.

Saad Sabbah, general manager of Exova (Saudi Arabia & Qatar), said: “This framework agreement further underlines our track record in the provision of environmental monitoring and testing services in Saudi Arabia, which helps our customers not only to meet the highest international regulatory quality standards, but also their environmental obligations.” – TradeArabia News Service
