Iran to provide 3,000MW of electricity to Pakistan

Iran is set to provide 3,000 MW of electricity to Pakistan to tackle the power outages, according to a report.
The $1.5 billion transmission infrastructure development offer was made to a 26-member delegation from Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said the Iran Daily report.
The delegation held business meetings with Tehran, Shiraz and Mashhad chambers of commerce and industry during its recent visit of Iran.
Meanwhile, Iran also aims to enhance trade with Pakistan with up to $10 billion, with Iranian businessmen gearing up to reach this target and demanding some steps too from Pakistan.
