Five new projects to be set up in Jubail

RIYADH, May 19, 2016

Saudi Arabia’s Royal Commission for Jubail (RCJ) recently signed five new contracts worth SR735 million ($195.9 million) for projects in Jubail Industrial City, said a report.

One of the deals is for Sipolet Saudi Arabian Company which willl set up a facility to carry out the inspection of crude oil and chemicals, according to the Arab News.

As per the other deals, Al-Mubdee Company for Chemical and Industrial Services will establish a factory for the production of specialty chemicals and providing industrial services.

Zai Gulf Company will open a factory for the production of specialty chemicals, while Rafako Middle East’s operations will recycle rubber ethylene and produce main polymers compounds, added the report.

Abdulaziz Attragi, RCJ’s general manager of strategic planning, signed the deals, which are expected to create around 300 job opportunities, added the report.
