L&T showcases engineering expertise at Saudi event

India's top engineering and construction firm Larsen & Toubro (L&T) showcased its key solutions at Saudi Elenex, a trade exhibition for the power, solar and lighting industries, which was held recently in capital Riyadh.

The event, which attracted over 112 companies from 12 countries, covered panel discussions, presentations and plenary sessions on power transmission, distribution and renewable energy.

During the show, the power transmission and distribution (PT&D) team successfully showcased the group's multi-dimensional EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) capabilities in power, infrastructure and renewable energy, said a statement from the Indian construction major.

L&T displayed its strength in all domains of power transmission and distribution with specific emphasis on power transmission and renewable energy projects executed across India, Saudi and GCC, highlighting its role as a major EPC player.

SLMahajan, the VP and head of PT&D Saudi Arabia, Tauqeer Mohammed, the head contracts (Substation) and other key team members in Saudi Arabia briefed the high-profile visitors including Mansour Bin Abdulrahman Al Qahtani, the executive VP at Saudi Electricity Company and other senior officials from reputed establishments in Saudi Arabia and GCC countries.

The (PT&D) team's presentation and track record won them appreciation from all quarters.

The power transmission and distribution business is a leading EPC player in the field of T&D business offering integrated solutions and end-to-end services, it stated.

On the renewable energy side, the business provides turnkey EPC services for projects on photovoltaic and concentrated solar power plants, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
