Leading shipping company owners, vessel operators and managers from across the globe along with marine technology experts will be showcasing their innovative products and solutions at a key industry event to be held on the sidelines of Seatrade Offshore Marine and Workboats Middle East 2019 in Dubai.

The new session titled “Disrupter Presentations” will highlight the innovative technologies at the two-day  conference and trade show which kicks off on September 23 during UAE Maritime Week.

Companies known for creating, developing or spearheading technology with the potential to transform the offshore marine and workboats industries are being invited to present their innovative works at the event.

The top applications being highlighted at the event include: AR technology; artificial intelligence; autonomous vessels; cyborg crew – wearable technology; data analytics; design and construction; drones; propulsion; robotics; vessel performance management and predictive maintenance; VR and gamification for training purposes; wireless communications; and zero emission workboats.

To take part in ‘Disrupter Presentations’, companies will need to submit a proposed presentation title, short synopsis and speaker biography by July 18, said the orgnaisers.

All applications will then be reviewed by Seatrade against a criteria for technological innovation, relevance and potential for invigorating the offshore marine arena.

Chris Morley, event director, Seatrade Maritime, said: “A drive to find cost-saving opportunities while increasing fuel efficiency and asset performance has seen the relationship between the offshore marine market and implementation of technology evolve rapidly over the last decade.”

“This ‘Disrupter Presentation’ session will not only provide an opportunity to share indispensable insight, but also for event attendees to learn from and be inspired by the pioneers shaping the future of offshore marine,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
