Finalists revealed for Seatrade Maritime Awards

DUBAI, August 19, 2019

Seatrade Maritime Awards has announced the shortlist for its 2019 edition, with the winners to be unveiled on September 22, at the Madinat Jumeirah, in Dubai, UAE.

Judged by an expert panel of industry thought leaders and CEOs, participating in these awards gives entrants, regardless of size, the chance to tell their success stories through maritime and shipping’s most prestigious honours programme to an international audience covering the Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and Africa.

All finalists demonstrated a commitment to excellence in their respective categories. The shortlist for 2019’s Seatrade Maritime Awards are as follows:

On the night there will also be honourary awards presented for: Integration of Women in the Maritime Sector; Personality of the Year 2019; Newcomer of the Year 2019; Outstanding Achievement Award 2019; Lifetime Achievement Award 2019.

Chris Morley, Seatrade Maritime event director, said: “The quality and scale of entries this year has been outstanding, and it is truly encouraging that so many organisations have positive examples to share with our panel of judges despite continued market pressures.”

“With over 120 entries from across 20 countries, the judges have once again taken much time and great care in assessing the examples presented against the criteria of each category.
