Otaq Group, an expert in engineering and manufacturing underwater leak detection systems, laser measurement and video processing technologies, will support customer activities in the offshore energy, aquaculture, commercial diving, defence and oceanographic research industries worldwide.

The addition of Otaq products to Unique Group’s diverse portfolio of survey equipment solidifies its consistent effort to provide customised integrated solutions to clients.

The agreement will see Unique Group represent a number of industry-renowned technologies, including the OceanSense and DragonFish solutions, said a top official.

"Staying true to our image as a global integrated solutions provider, our partnership with Otaq is testament to our ambitious strategic plans for 2020," remarked Unique Group CEO Harry Gandhi.

According to Gandhi, the Unique Group will also represent Otaq’s new Eagle IP range of high quality IP ethernet underwater HD cameras and IP integration infrastructure products.

This equipment, along with a number of additional specialist systems, will be made available to clients through Unique Group offices located in the partnered regions, he added.
