Oman’s power production till February down 6.5pc

Oman's total electricity production until the end of February this year registered a 6.5 per cent  decline to hit 4,080.2 gigawatts (GW) per hour compared to 4,365.6 GW per hour during the same period in 2019, reported Oman News Agency, citing statistics released by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI).
 
On the other hand, the water production in the sultanate reached 446.1 million cu m till the end of December in 2019, up 5.8 per cent, compared to the previous year's figures which stood at 421.7 million cu m, it added.
