Paradigm technology wins DNV-GL extension

LONDON, October 11, 2020

Paradigm Flow Services Ltd, a subsidiary of the Dutch oilfield technology services company, Paradigm Group, has been given a 5-year extension from DNV-GL for its dry deluge technology, Dry-Flo.

Paradigm Flow Services Technical Director, Hugh Mackenzie explains: “This recognition from GNV-DL further conveys our World-class dry deluge technology, Dry-Flo as the only dry deluge fire testing system on the market that does not require the use of water for maintenance testing of deluge systems. This is proving revolutionary for the industry because it means operators can hold off wet testing for up to 10 years, the cost savings in terms of time, resource and corrosion prevention are exponential.”

The Dry-Flo technology accurately verifies deluge system performance without the need for wet testing. This is deemed ‘revolutionary’ when considering wet testing as an inherently disruptive, damaging and environmentally unsound practice that negatively affects the asset which a deluge system is designed to protect.

Hugh concludes: “This year we have seen further interest in Dry-Flo from other industries outside of oil and gas, including tunnelling, construction, storage and terminals and the marine industry. This is such a unique and versatile product, we are so proud of the impact it is having on existing and new markets, we’re excited to see what the next five years bring.” -- Tradearabia News Service
