Large plumes of smoke from a wildfire burning in the Black Forest stretch the horizon threatening homes north east of Colorado Springs, Colorado. High winds, scorching heat and low himidity fuelled a wildfire that burned several homes on the edge of Colorado Springs and another blaze forced the evacuation of one of the state's top tourist attractions, authorities said.
