Time for protest

Buddhist monks and other protesters demonstrate against Time magazine in Yangon, Myanmar, on June 30. About 100 monks and 200 others took part in the protest following Time magazine's latest cover story that dubbed a radical Buddhist monk U Wirathu, "The Face of Buddhist Terror". The magazine also documented the ongoing sectarian violence between Buddhists and Muslims. The Myanmar government has banned Time Magazine in response to the article and gave permission for the people to protest. Reuters/Soe Zeya Tun
