The head-mounted device named "Air Touch" is displayed in Taiwan's Industrial Technology Research Institute in Hsinchu county, northern Taiwan, on July 22.

According to Golden Tiao, the research team leader and deputy general director of Electronics and Optoelectronics Research Laboratories at the Industrial Technology Research Institute, the device combines 3D floating display, depth camera and gesture recognition, allowing users to operate it through gesture control. He added that the device will be used for medical operation needs. Reuters/Pichi Chuang
