A miniature sculpture made by Chinese artist Li Qici, which imitates Chinese painter Xu Beihong's painting of eight running horses, is displayed on his finger, to celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year in Yuyao, Zhejiang province.
Li, 68, spent several months to craft the miniature sculpture on a 6-millimetre-long by 3-millimetre-wide ivory plate to the likeness of Xu's painting. According to the Chinese lunar calendar, the Chinese New Year, which welcomes the year of the horse, kicks off on January 31. Reuters/Stringer
