According to local media, floods caused by monsoon rains have forced thousands of people to flee their homes in Indonesia's capital, with the depth of floodwaters varying from 50 centimetres to 2 metres. A spokesperson from the Indonesian Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) said rainfall of moderate to heavy intensity is expected until Tuesday, especially in the afternoon and evening.
