Nearly 50 Indian nurses abducted by suspected Islamist militants in Iraq have been released and were flown home on Saturday, Indian officials said.
The nurses, all from south Indian state of Kerala, were moved from the northern city of Mosul to Arbil, some 80 km away. They were brought home on a special Indian government plane.-Reuters
