Tragedy on the tracks

Rescue workers inspect the site of a totally damaged car on the Nuerburgring racing track in Adenau, Germany on July 23. According to police, the car, which was on a so-called tourist ride on the track, was flung from a curve due to excessive speed into a group of marshals and another vehicle which previously had a slight accident at the same spot. Both occupants were killed, two marshals injuries are reported to be severe and the other car driver slightly injured. EPA/Thomas Frey
