Cityscape Abu Dhabi has been extended by one day and the exhibition will now conclude on May 16, organizers said.
The move follows a request from the Government of Abu Dhabi that the real estate development and investment event be extended by one day, said a statement.
The exhibition was opened yesterday (May 13) at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre by Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nayhan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
Mark Goodchild, project manager, Cityscape Abu Dhabi, said: “We received a formal request from the Abu Dhabi government that they would like us to extend the event by one more day. This is unprecedented for Cityscape, but considering the massive interest on the first day, it is hardly surprising. We’re delighted that the government should grant us such exceptional support and also that they recognise the importance of Cityscape for the development of Abu Dhabi and for many of the region’s exciting projects.”
Organisers IIR Middle East said more than 300 exhibitors are taking part in the show, covering more than 30,000 sq m of exhibition space. –TradeArabia News Service
